Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Rainbow Gymnastics Academy is an ʻohana owned and operating business established in 1985. At RGA, we take pride in providing an engaging and nurturing enviornment for students of all levels of experience in gymnastics and learn lifelong foundational fitness skills.

We are excited to grow our RGA ohana with new team members who are enthusiastic and eager to work, learn, and grow with many opportunities to advance in various ways.

  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset

    Patience and creativity in working with young athletes

    Strong understanding of safety standards in gymnastics

    Commitment to creating a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment

  • Provide gymnastics coaching to students of various ages and skill levels

    Implement lesson plans that focus on skill development, technique, and safety

    Teach proper form and execution of gymnastics movements and routines

    Create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students

    Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement

    Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing gym rules and proper equipment usage

    Collaborate with other coaches and staff to plan and coordinate team events and competitions

  • Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or related field preferred

    Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and safety protocols

    Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate students

    Ability to demonstrate and teach a variety of gymnastics movements, including tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars, and vault

    Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to work well with children of all ages

    CPR/AED certification is a plus
